You may be aware that since 2020 we have offered free educational subscriptions to professors and students in higher education, which we expanded in 2021 to cover non-profit law enforcement and military training. Our licenses with educational subscriptions include the full functionality of all our tools, with the only restriction being that they are not to be used in casework.
So what's new?
We have started creating "Educational Support Slides" for professors that can be easily integrated into existing courseware. I was an adjunct professor at Bunker Hill Community College back in the old days, and I appreciate how useful it would have been if vendors had offered us slides and interesting practical exercises that we could have considered for integration into our courseware.
Here are some sample slides from our first set of educational support slides, for Arsenal Image Mounter:
We have also created a dedicated channel on our Discord server for professors and students.
How do you get involved in Arsenal's educational program?
It's very easy! Contact us at sales@ArsenalRecon.com with some basic details on your digital forensics program (including when your next semester or training begins, the contact details for professors or instructors, and how many students you will have) and we’ll get you all the Arsenal licenses you need with subscriptions that cover your next semester or training. While not required, we appreciate photos of professors and students using our tools that we can share with the public.
Good hunting!
